JBA Headers and Exhaust

JBA Headers, Exhaust, Mid-pipes, Mufflers, Exhaust Tips, Ignition Wires and More

JBA is one of the most trusted names in the aftermarket exhaust industry because of their commitment to manufacturing excellence. The JBA product designs are original, innovative and always deliver. Power, quality, fit, durability, and emissions legality are what JBA is known for. In 1987, those qualities were not present in the header or exhaust industry, so JBA set out to build high quality products to meet the needs of the growing street performance market. Originally developed for the 5.0L Mustang, JBA's replacement Cat4Ward headers were engineered with heavy-duty features, easy installation, a durable design, and emissions legal status that made them an instant hit with automotive enthusiasts across America. As demand grew and emissions regulation increased, JBA saw the need to broaden their product line to cover most popular GM, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan and Toyota vehicles. JBA has applied their manufacturing philosophy and build qualities to offer the most complete line of quality 50-state emissions-legal exhaust products in the industry. Today, JBA offers a variety of products to meet the demands of the performance enthusiast; JBA Cat4Ward Headers, JBA Performance Exhaust Systems, JBA PowerCables ignition wires and our new line of Long Tube Race Headers, all available from Accesspeed. Suspension & Chassis » Springs - Coil Lowering Springs

Coil Springs, Lowering Springs, Lift Springs, Sport Springs, OE Ride Height Springs

Do lowering springs improve performance?

Assuming the springs are good quality, yes. Typically, the lowering springs have higher spring rates, which improves weight transfer, responsiveness and acceleration.

Do lowering springs hurt ride quality?

No. Most street and sport lowering springs are designed to ride as close to factory as possible, maintaining similar suspension travel, and minimal (up to 15% higher) spring rates. Additionally, most progressive rate street and sport springs keep the factory spring rates for the first 25-20% of spring travel, which preserves that factory ride quality.

Can I improve my spring performance without lowering my vehicle?

Yes. Several brands offer “OE Ride Height” performance springs that provide the improved handling characteristics, without lowering the vehicle stance.

Do you need an alignment after replacing springs?

Yes. You will need an alignment after replacing springs, whether lowering, stock or lifting.
