Rancho Suspension

Rancho Shocks, Lift Kits, Suspension Systems, Jeep Suspension and Rock Protection

Rancho Suspension was born in the 1950s in Long Beach, California, as Rancho Jeep Supply, and quickly grew into a thriving off-road and performance suspension components manufacturer. In 1985, Rancho launched what would later become its best-selling shock absorber: The Rancho RS5000. In 1990, Rancho was purchased by Tenneco Inc. and quickly expanded to include the world's first five-way adjustable shock absorber, allowing off-road enthusiasts to adjust the level of compression/rebound damping to suit their riding style, and launched the first "intelligent" shock, the RSX shock absorber.

Rancho continued to grow and add fully engineered, industry-leading shock absorbers – like RS9000XL, Loaded quickLIFT, Pro Series and more – plus suspension systems to one of the world's most recognizable and technologically leading brands. Rancho suspension systems, shock absorbers, accessories and other related products deliver rugged performance for work and play in any on - or off-road environment.  Rancho also offers the RockGear line of Jeep rock protection products, ranging from differential covers and skid plates, to steel shock mount protectors and tube doors.

Rancho products are manufactured and marketed by Tenneco Inc (NYSE: TEN) a $17.45 billion manufacturing company best known for its ride control and emission brands, including: Monroe shocks and struts, Walker Exhaust, Thrush Exhaust, and DynoMax Performance Exhaust. Accesspeed is proud to offer Rancho Suspension products to our customers. With our lowest price match guarantee, you will always find the best combination of price and selection at Accesspeed.

Drop Spindles, Lift Spindles and Ball Joint Kits

What are spindles?

The spindle is the suspension component that carries the hub for the wheel and attaches to the upper and lower control arms.

What are drop spindles?

Drop-spindles relocate the hub to a higher position, allowing you to lower your vehicle using factory springs and shocks, and maintaining the OEM factory ride.

What is a ball joint drop kit?

Using the same ideology as the drop spindle, lowering drop ball joints replace the stock lower ball joint and relocate the upper ball joint position. The design allows the vehicle to retain the use of stock wheels without any clearance issues while providing the lowering needed.

What are lift spindles?

A lift spindle relocates the hub position on the steering knuckles, allowing you to lift your vehicle while maintaining the OEM tie rod and steering arm geometry. All of this helps maintain a better ride.
