Clayton Off Road COR-1200502 Jeep Wrangler Lower Shock Relocation Kit 1997-2006 TJ/LJ
Clayton Off Road lower shock relocation kit is the perfect addition to any lifted Jeep Wrangler. This kit has three purposes. It properly positions the lower shock so that you don't have any rubbing on the lower coil bucket or actual coil during articulation.
This normally happens on lifted Wranglers when the axle is rolled up to work with a Cv style driveshaft. It gains you ground clearance. This kit requires removing the OEM lower shock mount which is discarded.
The new shock mount welds in behind the lower OEM control arm bracket. By welding this 3/16 laser cut and bent bracket to the lower control bracket and axle tube you in tern strengthen this mount. Welding and cutting is required to install this kit.
Sold as a pair with Hardware.
Note:
May Not be compatible with all shock types. Example - Rancho Wide Body. We recommend Bilstein 5100 series.
