Why use this pair of Power Stop cross drilled rotors? Simple- These rotors run up to 250-degrees cooler than factory rotors. This reduces the chances of warping, which has become a major problem with factory rotors in recent years. Additionally you will experience improved wet weather braking. Power Stop starts with OE quality rotors as a base. Each rotor requires a specific drilling pattern in order not to interfere with the cooling vanes. This information is programmed and run on a CNC milling machine. The end result is a brake rotor that is - mill balanced to prevent vibration - ground finish that eliminates run-out and taper - double disc ground to ensure parallelism - non-directional finished - gold cadmium plated for protection against corrosion ( this does not apply to Hub/Rotor combinations). Power Stop rotors are manufactured to the highest standards, and are used on many law enforcement and emergency vehicles, as well as taxi companies, all of which experience severe braking requirements.
