What is a short shifter?
A short shifter, or short-throw shifter, is an aftermarket manual transmission shifter that reduces the throw ratio from gear to gear.
Does a short shifter make a difference?
Yes. Since your hand movement is also reduced, shifting can be performed much quicker, improving your overall shifting performance and helping to shave lap times down.
