Edge Products

Edge Products Handheld Programmers, ECM Tuners, Digital Monitors, Gauges and Performance Chips

Founded in 1999, Edge Products has become the premier name for aftermarket performance electronics. Initially, the company was built on the production of performance electronics for diesel-powered trucks. Over the years, however, Edge has expanded its offerings to include innovative game-changing products for diesel and gas truck and SUV markets. Edge produces performance modules, programmers, monitors/gauges, cold-air intakes, exhaust systems, and more for all major vehicle manufacturers 1996 and newer under the following brands: Juice, Attitude, Evolution, Insight, Jammer, Amp’d, Pulsar, EZ, and Comp to name a few.  Since its inception, Edge has been known for the power its modules and programmers produce. However, what sets the company apart from its competitors is the unmatched user control and unique style featured in every product.  Edge’s ability to display multiple engine parameters – and to provide associated safety features for those parameters on its stylish in-cab monitors – has revolutionized the industry. With the continuing performance line for Edge new Stage Kits help take the guess work out of the buying experience for the consumer.  Stage Kits deliver a performance tuner, cold-air intakes, and on the Stage 2 Kits exhaust systems.  Edge endeavors to produce the highest quality products on the market and to deliver them with superior customer and technical support.

In 2005, Edge Products was acquired by MSD Performance. In 2011 Edge became part of Powerteq LLC, which today owns and manages the DiabloSport and Superchips brands – two of the most popular performance tuning brands in North America.  In 2015, Powerteq LLC, along with the other MSD Performance Group brands, was acquired by the Holley Performance Group.  The deep line of Holley brands marries tremendous technology with cutting-edge resources and industry roots. The combination of talented personnel at Powerteq and the resources of Holley Performance Group ensure that exciting aftermarket products will launch from Edge for many years to come.  Accesspeed is proud to offer Edge Products to our customers. Exhaust, Mufflers, Headers and Tips » Mid-Pipes X-H-Y-Pipes & Race Pipes

Mid-Pipe, H-Pipes, X-Pipes, Y-Pipes & Off-Road Race Pipes

What is a mid-pipe?

The mid-pipe is the section of your exhaust system that runs between the exhaust manifold or header and your muffler, or between your catalytic converter and your muffler.  Mid-pipes often improve exhaust flow to increase horsepower and fuel economy.

What is a crossover pipe exhaust?

Crossover pipes, such as the H-Pipe, X-Pipe and Y-Pipe, help balance the exhaust pulses from either side of the engine on a V-shape block. This results in a smoother exhaust flow, which can improve horsepower and fuel efficiency.

How are Y-pipes different than X-pipes and H-pipes?

While the Y-Pipe is similar in design to the X-pipe, the Y-pipe joins exhaust gasses together into one pipe as it flows through to the muffler. Conversely, X-pipes and H-pipes most often flow through a dual exhaust all the way to the muffler.

What is an off-road mid-pipe?

While it sounds self-explanatory, an off-road mid-pipe may have different meanings for those of us to like to spend our time in the dirt and mud, far away from concrete and asphalt. Technically and legally, off-road means the mid-pipe is not legal for street use, and will not pass emissions tests in most states.
