Edge Products Handheld Programmers, ECM Tuners, Digital Monitors, Gauges and Performance Chips

Founded in 1999, Edge Products has become the premier name for aftermarket performance electronics. Initially, the company was built on the production of performance electronics for diesel-powered trucks. Over the years, however, Edge has expanded its offerings to include innovative game-changing products for diesel and gas truck and SUV markets. Edge produces performance modules, programmers, monitors/gauges, cold-air intakes, exhaust systems, and more for all major vehicle manufacturers 1996 and newer under the following brands: Juice, Attitude, Evolution, Insight, Jammer, Amp’d, Pulsar, EZ, and Comp to name a few.  Since its inception, Edge has been known for the power its modules and programmers produce. However, what sets the company apart from its competitors is the unmatched user control and unique style featured in every product.  Edge’s ability to display multiple engine parameters – and to provide associated safety features for those parameters on its stylish in-cab monitors – has revolutionized the industry. With the continuing performance line for Edge new Stage Kits help take the guess work out of the buying experience for the consumer.  Stage Kits deliver a performance tuner, cold-air intakes, and on the Stage 2 Kits exhaust systems.  Edge endeavors to produce the highest quality products on the market and to deliver them with superior customer and technical support.

In 2005, Edge Products was acquired by MSD Performance. In 2011 Edge became part of Powerteq LLC, which today owns and manages the DiabloSport and Superchips brands – two of the most popular performance tuning brands in North America.  In 2015, Powerteq LLC, along with the other MSD Performance Group brands, was acquired by the Holley Performance Group.  The deep line of Holley brands marries tremendous technology with cutting-edge resources and industry roots. The combination of talented personnel at Powerteq and the resources of Holley Performance Group ensure that exciting aftermarket products will launch from Edge for many years to come.  Accesspeed is proud to offer Edge Products to our customers. Superchargers and Turbos » Charge Pipes

Turbo Charge Pipes and Charge Tubes, Hot Side Charge Pipes, Cold Side Charge Pipes

What is a charge pipe?

A charge pipe is a free-flowing tube that replaces your vehicle's restrictive factory intercooler piping. A properly designed charge pipe will reduce turbo-charged air pressure loss while increasing air flow from the turbo to the intercooler.

Do charge pipes add horsepower?

Charge pipes increase throttle response on most applications, but are especially efficient on high performance vehicles that have aftermarket upgrades and/or tuning.

What is the difference between a turbo charge pipe (hot side) and an intercooler charge pipe (cold side)?

Turbo charge pipes are free-flowing tubes that replace the restrictive factory piping that connects your turbo to your intercooler. Properly designed turbo charge pipes (often called hot side turbo pipes) reduce turbocharged air pressure loss while increasing air flow from the turbo to the intercooler. Basically, the hot side (turbo side) of the charge pipe carries hot charge air from the turbo to the intercooler. Conversely, the intercooler charge pipes (often called cold side turbo pipes) connect the intercooler to the air intake on your vehicle. The cold side of the intercooler charge pipe takes the cooled air from the intercooler and directs it to the intake manifold. The cold side is also referred to as the intake side.

Does a charge pipe require a custom tune or program?

A tune is not required for the installation of most charge pipes. However, charge pipes will compliment a vehicle with a good tune, allowing you to take full advantage of the free-flowing air.
