Winches and Winch Kits

What do winches do?

A winch is a mechanical device that is used to pull in or let out (adjust) the tension of a cable, rope or wire.  In its simplest form, a winch consists of a drum/spool attached to a cranking/winding mechanism. However, Accesspeed offers electric winches in a variety of sizes, capacities and uses.

Are winches worth it?

If you spend any time off-road, you will likely know the answer is “Yes!”  Having a winch installed on your vehicle can help you or other drivers get unstuck. Winches can also help remove off-road hazards like fallen trees or boulders that block a trail. If your truck has open differentials front and rear, purchasing a winch should be a priority.
