What is the difference between running boards, side steps and side bars?
Running boards tend to run the length of the cab, making it easier to step into the cab. Side steps normally attach to the rear of your vehicle, making it easier to step up and reach into your truck bed or onto the roof of your SUV. Side bars are tubular bars and steps that offer some body protection and style, while helping you step up into your vehicle.
