What is a performance pulley and how do they work?
Aftermarket pulley kits reduce the power the engine uses to turn the front engine accessories, such as an alternator or water pump. When you change the front engine pulley ratios, the serpentine belt rotates at a slower speed. The result is performance improvements of up to 15-HP, depending on the vehicle.
