Wilwood 831-15958 AFX ProSpindle 2" Drop Spindle Kit for 1970-1981 F-Body, 1973-1976 A-Body, 1975-1979 X-Body, and 1977-1990 B-Body Cars

Wilwood’s new 2” drop ProSpindle for General Motors second-generation 1970-1981 F-body and related 1973-1976 A-body, 1975-1979 X-body, and many 1977-1990 B-body (originally equipped with 11” rotors) vehicles using Wilwood brakes. The high-strength cast steel ProSpindle is more rigid than OEM spindles and eliminates the weak factory sliding caliper mount, allowing multiple Wilwood brake upgrades. The steering arm has also been strengthened for more accurate steering and better handling, especially with modern tires. Specifically designed for use with Wilwood’s disc brake kits, with a 2.00” drop for a more aggressive stance without affecting steering geometry. With the added benefits of providing a lower center of gravity, raised front roll center and a decreased camber change also improve handling with less body roll. Wilwood engineered the direct caliper mount to provide a fortified attachment for five new brake kits. Accesspeed offers these kits with rotor sizes ranging from 11.00” to 14.00” in diameter and high-performance four-piston or six-piston caliper options. The ProSpindles mount to OE ball joints in stock or aftermarket control arms with no change to steering geometry.
