RAZZI

RAZZI Ground Effects, Body Kits, Spoilers, Wings, Air Dams, Side Skirts and Window Scoops

RAZZI Ground Effects was founded in 1984 to design and manufacture Ground Effects and Body Kit packages for automobiles using flexible and durable ABS materials. After developing a wide selection of packages for cars, RAZZI added Ground Effects packages for trucks, SUVs and vans.  Besides being one of the pioneers of Ground Effects product manufacturing, RAZZI unquestionably has one of the best reputations in the ground effects industry. RAZZI designs and builds Ground Effects, Body Kits, Spoilers, Wings, Front Air Dams, Rear Air Dams, Side Skirts and Window Scoops for Acura, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercury, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Pontiac, Scion, Smart Car and Toyota.

While there are many different grades of ABS type plastic, RAZZI uses the very best grades of ABS (Acrylinitrile Butadiene Styrene), which are then blended together, using RAZZI’s secret formula to make AERO-FLEX, a special thermoset plastic which is the very best material available for the manufacturing of Ground Effects type products. RAZZI Ground Effects Packages are not soft, and rubbery like some Ground Effects Packages that are made of urethane plastic (which can be difficult to paint and install).  The AERO-FLEX ABS Ground Effects Packages are more rigid like fiberglass but do not crack like fiberglass parts will.  Also, parts made of fiberglass are usually very poor fitting compared to AERO-FLEX parts.  RAZZI parts are commonly referred to as one of the best fitting parts in the Ground Effects industry.  AERO-FLEX is not a urethane material and it is NOT a fiberglass material.  The accurate description of AERO-FLEX is that it is a high-tech co-extruded ABS composite plastic material. Accesspeed is proud to offer RAZZI products to our customers. With our lowest price match guarantee, you will always find the best combination of price and selection at Accesspeed.

Convertible Boot and Tonneau Covers

Boot and tonneau covers are designed for convertibles. Two convertible top products which are easily confused are boot covers and convertible tonneau covers. Both items are used when the convertible top is folded down. Below are the two most common questions and answers for these items.

What is a convertible tonneau cover?

A convertible tonneau cover is designed to cover the passenger and/or rear seat areas in your convertible to reduce wind drag. Tonneau comes from a French word to describe a barrel, cask or other container to protect stored items from inclement weather and theft. In the 1930s, racers designed tonneau covers to cover the passenger seat areas in their roadsters to reduce wind drag while attempting to set speed records.

What is a convertible boot cover?

The boot cover secures and covers the convertible top opening when the top is down. Whether you call it a boot cover, parade cover, top cover or convertible storage area cover, the function is the same. Boot covers protect the opening from road debris, dirt and other random items that can drop into the area for a visit. In addition, boot covers give your convertible the clean and tidy appearance of a finished roadster.
