What is a 6-point harness?
A six-point harness restraint is a form of racing seat belt that contains six straps that are mounted to the car frame. Similar to the 5-point restraint system, the 6-point harness has two (2) safety belts that run from the bottom of the latch down under the front of the seat between the driver’s legs, further helping to keep your pelvis from moving forward. This form of seat belt has the highest rating in motorsports.
