McGaughy's kits are made so the average guy in his garage can do the installation without any major modifications. The McGaughy's “Classic Drop” spindles are made in the USA with the highest quality components. All machining is done in-house using state-of-the-art CNC machines. All McGaughys spindles are made from 4140 chromoly and machined on CNC turning centers. Since McGaughy's performs their own engineering, prototyping, and machining, they often have suspension kits for new vehicles as soon as they hit the dealerships.  Accesspeed is proud to offer McGaughy's Suspension products to our customers. Block Kits

What do suspension blocks or lift block kits do?

Lift blocks allow you to raise or lower the suspension (usually rear) to achieve the perfect ride height or stance. This is a popular option when you lift your front, and the rear sags like a ’65 Impala rolling down Crenshaw on switches. Many refer to this as the Cali Lean because, like many vehicle customization trends, it originated in California. In Eastern states, it is also called the Carolina Squat. One thing you need to consider when adding blocks is the potential for axle wrap. Lift blocks increase leverage on the axle, which can cause twisting. Accesspeed customers who purchase 1” to 3” blocks have never reported any issues, which is why we do not sell the large block kits.
